Hooray for the Red, White and Blue!

Everybody loves a parade, and no town does it quite like Kailua. The 66th annual Kailua Independence Day Parade steps off at 10 a.m. on July 4 from the intersection of Palapu Street and Kainalu Drive, ending at Kailua Intermediate School. Bask in patriotic spirit as 200 marchers, vehicles decked out for the Fourth, colorful floats and, of course, marching bands make their way down the parade route. Don’t forget to look out for the Star-Advertiser car and grab a Go Kailua visor!
